Jenna Fischer has become best well-known as Pam Beesly, the character she played on The Office. For this character, she was awarded two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy as well as an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Jenna was raised in Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna saw her mother, Anne, perform in the church when she was young and was able to instill a love of performing and theater.
Fischer was a theatre actress trained in her native country. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. In Steve Martin's most recent show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy featuring Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg), she was then invited to appear in the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's best friend in real life and Fischer began with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The podcast quickly gained popularity. Every week it ranked in the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloaded in the initial two years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's published two books: The Actor's Life A Survival Guide that outlines her journey to Hollywood acting as a professional, and Office BFF's, Tales of The Office From Two Best Friends who were There, which is a story of the greatest relationship they shared and their time watching The Office.
